P(Correct guess 3 in a row) = P(Correct guess first time) x P(Correct guess second time) x P(Correct guess third time)

= 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2

= 1/8.

Total possible outcome = 2 (That is, head or tail)

Total possible favorable outcome = 1

To find the probability, we divide the favorable outcome by the possible number of outcome:

P(Guess correctly) = 1/2

To guess correct to 3 time:

P(Guess correctly 3 times) = (1/2)³ = 1/8

Answer: The probability of guessing it right 3 times in a row is 1/8
