total length needed= 35 feet
Length of one brick= 10 inches
cost of one brick= 0.98$
one feet = 12 inches
therefore length of brick in feet= 1÷12×10= 0.833 feet
Now brick needed= 35÷ 0.833= 42 bricks
total cost= 42× 0.98= 41$
therefore he will spend 41 dollar on bricks..
