Different forms of precipitation leads to creation of different type of vegetation

Explanation:

  • Natural vegetation depends on the type of climatic patterns such as in the Konkan region which is the most rugged and is the westernmost region and this extends from Maharashtra to goa to Karnataka.
  • Being bounded by the western ghats and Arabian sea the region gets most of the rainfall on the western sides. Thus has an evergreen type of tropical vegetation.
  • While other states like Rajasthan that is semi-dry and is a mostly barren land. Due to the scanty rainfall the region has tropical thorny forests and a mix of dry deciduous forest.
