dimension of verandah = l= 15m, convert into cm 15×100cm=1500CM

and b= 40m , convert into centimetre = 40×100CM = 4000 cm

dimension of stone = l = 60cmb = 5cm

area of verandah = l×b

Area of verandah =1500×4000 area of verandah 600000cm²

area of stones = l × b

area of stone = 60×5

area of stone = 300cm²

number of bricks required = area of cylinder / area of stone

number of bricks required =600000/300

number of bricks required = 2000

therefore number of bricks required = 2000
