-a-b= -(a+b)

(i) substitute the value of a and b in the given equation

-a-b= -(a+b)

-2-5= -(2+5)

-7= -(7)

so,

-7= -7

hence verified

(ii) substitute the value of a and b in the given equation

-a-b= -(a+b)

-3-10= -(3+10)

-13= -(13)

so

-13= -13

hence verified
