Step-by-step explanation:

Given, a= -1, b= -1, c= -3

To prove: a÷(b+c) is not equal to (a÷b)+(a÷c )

Proof: LHS= a÷(b+c)

= -1÷(-1-3)

= -1/-4= 1/4

RHS= (a÷b)+(a÷c)

= (-1÷ -1)+(-1÷ -3)

= 1+1/3

= 4/3

LHS is not equal to RHS.

That is, a÷(b+c) is not equal to (a÷b)+(a÷c).

Hence, proved .

Hope it helps.
