x-y = -2/3 - 1/-6

= -2/3 + 1/6

= -12+1/6

= -13/6 its also a fraction but its not an integer

closure property : - integere are closed under subtraction which means thier subtraction will also give an integer

for example

x - y

= -2/3  - (-1/6)

= -2/3 + 1/6

= -4 +1/6

=-3/6

= -1/2
