verify commutative property of addition for the following pairs of rational number : -2/-5 and 1/3

Answer:

LHS = -2/-5 + 1/3

= 2/5 + 1/3

= 11/15

RHS = 1/3 +(-2/-5)

= 1/3 + 2/5

= 11/15

LHS = RHS
