 \frac{3}{4 }  + ( - \frac{2}{5} ) =  -  \frac{2}{5}  +  \frac{3}{4} \\  \\   \frac{3}{4}    -  \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{ - 2 \times 4 + 3 \times 5}{20}  \\  \\  \frac{3 \times 5 - 2 \times 4}{20}   =  \frac{ - 8 + 15}{20}  \\  \\  \frac{15 - 8}{20}  =  \frac{7}{20}  \\  \\  \frac{7}{20}  =  \frac{7}{20}  \\  \\ h ence \: proved
