we have to verify - ( - x ) = x

given x = -13/7

LHS :-

==> - ( - x )

= - [ - ( - 13/7 ) ]

= - ( 13/7 )

= - 13/7

RHS :-

==> x

= - 13/7

hence, it's proved that LHS = RHS

Taking L.H.S.
