L.H.S-5/7+3/4=3/4-5/7

-5/7+3/4=-20+21/28

=1/28

RHS

3/4-5/7=21-20/28

=1/28

LHS = RHS

Given :

  • The two pair of rational numbers = \sf {\dfrac {-5}{7}} and \sf {\dfrac {3}{4}}

To Find :

  • Verify the commutative law of addition for the following pairs of rational numbers .

In commutative law of addition two numbers are add as (a+b) or (b+a) , both having same value.

Here , a = \sf {\dfrac {-5}{7}} and b= \sf {\dfrac {3}{4}}
