$( - 2) + ( - 9) + 6 = ( - 2) + ( - 9) + 6 \\ (- 2 - 9) + 6 = ( - 2 - 9) + 6 \\ - 11 + 6 = - 11 + 6 \\ ( - 5) = ( - 5)$

Hence LHS = RHS
