1.let the rational no.be 3 and irrational no.be √6
then sum=3+√6(irrational)

2.let the irrational no.be √2 and √3
product=√6(case 1)
let the irrational no.be √4 
product=√4×√4=4(case 2)
in case 1 product is irrational but in case 2 the product is rational
