Step-by-step explanation:

 {x}^{2}  - 2  \\  =  \sqrt{2 \\ }

I hope this is correct ... if this is wrong sorry for this... thank u

Step-by-step explanation:

p(x) =x^2-2

{x^2-(√2)^2}

hence, p(x)=0 =>(x+√2)(x-√2)

x+√2=0 or x-√2=0

x= - √2 or x=√2

so, the zeros of p(x) are

- √2 and √2

sum of zeros:

(- √2+√2)=0= 0/1. -(cofficient of x) / coefficient of x^2)

(- √2) *(√2)= -2/1. constant term/ coefficient of x^2.

hope this helps you
