It's simple. Just put 2 instead of x in the L.H.S of the given polynomial. If it gives zero then 2 is a zero of the polynomial.
x³+4x²-3x-18=2³+4(2)²-3.2-18=8+4.4-6-18=8+16-24=24-24=0
therefore, 2 is a zero of the given polynomial.
