Given polynomial,
p(x)=x^2-1
Now,
p(1)=(1)^2-1
p(1)=1-1=0
Therefore,1 is the zero of given polynomial p(x)
p(-1)=(-1)^2-1
p(-1)=1-1=0
Therefore,-1 is also a zero of given polynomial.
Hence -1 and 1 are zeroes of given polynomial p(x)=x^2-1

x=1
p(x)=x^2-1
=1*1-1
=0
x=-1
p(x)=-1*-1-1
=0
Therefore, x=1,-1 are zeros of p(x).
