 - x - ( - y) = y - x \\ (x =  - 7) \\ (y =  - 5) \\  \\ now \: solution \:  \\  \\   =  >  - x - ( - y) = y - x \\   =  >  - x + y = y - x \\  =  >  - ( - 7)   ( - 5) =  - 5  -  ( - 7) \\  =  > 7 - 5 =  - 5  +  7 \\  =  > 2 = 2 \\

Hence LHS is equal to RHS

if we take -x-(-y)=-(-7)-(-(-5))

=7-5

=2

and now we take

y-x=(-5)-(-7)

=-5+7

=2
