Onake Obavva was a woman who struggled with the forces of Hyder Ali alone with a pestle (Onake) in the kingdom of Chitradurga of Karnataka, India. Guard of watchtower was her husband in rocky fort of Chitradurga. In state Karnataka she is celebrated along with Abbakka Rani, Keladi Chennamma and Kittur Chennamma.
