P=400

KW=400/1000=0.4kW

T=8*30=240 hours.

electrical energy=P*t=0.4*240=96kWh

thus, electrical energy consumed by the refrigerator for 30 days is 96kWh

cost of 96kWh=96*3=288

P=400 W = 0.4KW

Time(t) for which it is operated =8hrs

As we know energy = power x time

E=Pt

E= 0.4(8)

E=3.2 KWH(kilowatt per hr)

Hence energy consumed is 3.2 KW PER HOUR.
