I am very sad today. My grandfather has left the house forever. He won't live with us any longer! I feel so sad thinking this. I won't be getting his caring love any longer! I feel so ashamed of my mother's selfishness. My dad, uncle and aunt are equally greedy and selfish. He is right in leaving us. He dedicated all his life in caring and nurturing the family; and what did he get in return?
How mean of my mother, dad, uncle and aunt not to even bother to call doctor to have her examined! They were only bothered about their share! The meanest out of all of them is my mother! She could not even wait to grab as many things belonging to grandfather as she could! They were more bothered to have their tea than to go to his room and see him! He has taken the right decision of marrying Mrs Shorrock of Ring O Bell. After all he has the right to be loved! He is right in altering his will too! I know he will always love him as I have always admired and valued his love and care.

l am amazed the way things are going on in the house. Really, l am bewildered and upset by the attitude of the elders. My parents and aunt Elizabeth and uncle Jordan are quarrelling over the inheritance. I feel ashamed how my own mother is behaving these days. She is out to grab everything that belongs to my grandfather. Oh, it's quite disgusting! Think of that bureau which she wanted to bring down before the arrival of aunt Elizabeth. I asked them if they were pinching before aunt Elizabeth come; and then grandpa's clock. How shamelessly they warned me not to breathe a word to my aunt about the clock and the bureau. Even my mother didn't spare the slippers of my grandfather.

And the behaviour of aunt Elizabeth and uncle Jordan was equally disgraceful. Aunt Elizabeth found 'such a relief to get into the black.' How disgusting! They give more importance to having tea then going up to see the dead person upstairs. Actually they have no feeling. Their petty interests have made them blind. They miss no opportunity of blaming each other. I can't forget my grandfather. He was so good and so loving. I still cherish his love
