In a forest, a lion, the king of the jungle was killing many animals every day for food. All the animals assembled and met the lion. They requested him to stop killing the animals, to which he said no. At last, the lion came in terms to an agreement which says that they would send an animal each day for its food. One day, it was the time of a rabbit, it was scared so it thought of an idea. It went to the lion and said, "Oh great lion, I've heard rumors that there was another lion which killed all the animals which tried to come here." this angered the lion greatly. He followed the rabbit to a well, where he saw his own reflection and thought it was the other lion. It roared in wrath, and jumped in, which ended in its end.

Moral: Look underneath the underneath. Meaning, always think before acting.
