The average speed is 80 km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance traveled by Vijay = 560 km

Speed of Vijay = 70 km/hr

Time = \frac{Distance}{Speed}\\Time = \frac{560}{70}

Time =8 hours

Distance traveled by Vijay at next = 240 km

Speed of Vijay = 120 km/hr

Time = \frac{Distance}{Speed}\\Time = \frac{240}{120}

Time =2 hours

Average speed =\frac{\text{Total distance}}{\text{Total time}}

Average speed = \frac{560+240}{8+2}

Average speed = 80 km/hr

Hence The average speed is 80 km/hr
