Vinay wants to cover the floor of a room 3 metre wide and 4 metre long by square tiles. If each square tile is of side 50 cm. find the number of tiles required to cover the floor of the room​

Area of room=length * breadth

=3*4

=12

Area of one tile =0.5*0.5

=0.25

number of tiles is given by the formula,

number=area of room/area of one tile

So,

=48
