vineet travels 16 km towards west;turns right and travels another 12 km and then takes two successive left turns covering 8 km and 12 in each turn respectively. Finally he takes a right turn and travels 10 km further. How far is he now from his original position?

16+8+10=34 km in west.

i hv done jst mind calculation so verify th answer.

first go 16km straight towards west.
then 12 km in north
then take left mans again in west so add(16+8=24 in west)
now take left (towards south nd go 12km. means you are reached again in west.(at 24 km away..from starting point).

so take right means toward west and go 10 km.
so 24+10 =34 km

* use a pen and paper draw a map of east west north south..and do it.

West means left so take 16 m towards left and then 13 km east that is towards ur right and then 8 km towards the left and then 12 km again towards left and again 10 km towards the left and now u are 14 km away from original position
