Let number of balls with fours be x and number of balls with sixes be y
x+y=20, x=20-y

4x+6y=96
4(20-y)+6y=96
80-4y+6y=96
2y=16
y=8, x=12
Runs with fours= 48
Runs with sixes= 48
50% runs with fours and 50% with sixes

Percentage of runs scored by fours = 50%

Percentage of runs scored by sixes = 50%

Let the number of fours = x

Number of sixes = y

we know that x + y = 20

and

4x + 6y = 96

Solving the above 2 equations, we get

x = 12 and y = 8

Runs scored with 12 fours = 12 * 4 = 48

Runs scored with 8 sixes = 8 * 6 = 48

The percentage of fours = 48/96 (100) %

                                         = 50%

The percentage of sixes = 48/96 (100) %

                                         = 50%
