HELLO THERE. ⤵️⤵️⤵️

Madras / Vishakapatnam gets heavier rainfall than hyderabad / Secunderabad / Bangalore / Mysore. ... It receives rain from the South West Monsoon Bay of Bengal Branch as it is in the Pathway of these winds. Hence because of the high hills it receives heavy relief rain.

Vishakhapatnam gets heavier rainfall than Hyderabad, because -

• The Vishakhapatnam is situated near the Bay of Bengal which means the Vishakhapatnam has significant amount of coastal areas. These coastal areas ensure the entrance of huge amount of monsoon winds from the Bay of Bengal.

• And, that's why Vishakhapatnam recieves a very high amount of rainfall in the every year.

• On the other hand, the Hyderabad recieves very less amount of rainfall because it is situated far away from any ocean and that's why the arrival of the monsoon winds takes more time for the Hyderabad which gradually decreases the intensity of the annual rainfall.
