vishu invested Rs 400 each in two banks one bank give him c. I at 10%anum compounded half yearly he kept money in the bank for 3/2 year how much more did he get from c. I than from simple interest

First compound the 3/2 years into 3 yrs by multiplying 2 as compounded half yearly then divide the CI by 2 then use formula p(1+r/100)to the power n then you will get the amount find CI by subtraction of A-CI. Then find the SI BY ptr/100 subtract CI from si to get the difference
