There are five people visit in our locality & share there views on some important topic like how children left their parents in old ages There,we met many old people who related the stories of their lives. When we asked an old man about his life story,he cried and told us that though he had sacrificed everything for his children,they threw him in an old-age home. He said they don’t even visit him anymore. In the old-age home,there was a Gurudwara where residents of the home worshiped. We also went there and prayed to God. After that,we gave them articles for daily use. They were very happy to see the gifts. They blessed us,and we promised that we will come again to meet them. Now,it was time for departure. They were very sad that we are going. We learnt a lesson that day,which was to treat the aged with love and affection. Such child who can put our parent in old age,should ask himself how he would feel if his children did the same to him when he became old.“Blessed are such people those who have the old with them”,goes an old saying. Today,it is ironical that old people are considered a burden. I guess this was the most wonderful,emotional and eye-opening scenario. Earlier,we used to think to why we were being taken there. But now I have realised that it was done to open our “real eyes”. There,I came to realise the importance of old people in our life. One of the men living there told me that I looked like his grand daughter,and then broke into tears. I tried to make him stop crying,but I also became emotional by looking at him. They all were so polite and caring. One of the women,who was a writer by profession,conversed with us in English. . From now on,I will never hurt my grandparents,and will try to spend more time with them. grandparents are so precious for us so we must take care and obey them
