last year i had visit to jammu and kashmir . i had seen there many animals. i am going to state about them .
1. kashmir stag:- kashmir stag is also known as hangul. it is especially found in kashmir valley . they r critically endangered by IUCN. the deer has a light rump patch with including the tail. its coat color is brown with a speckling to the hair . each antler consists of five tines.kashmir stag eat eat grasses , mosses and lichens
2. kashmir musk deer:- it is an endangered species of musk deer native to afghanistan , pakistan and republic of india . this is originally a subspecies of alpine musk deer.. male musk deers are are used for making a special type of perfume called musk .they eat arboreal lichens,bushy lichens , few mosses, maples, honey suckle bird cherry and buckwheat
3.brown bear :- brown bear has a coat of brown colour. the brown varies individually and seasonally .tips of the fur may give the coat a silvery tinge. in winter it turns red brown and in summer it turns darker,richer brown. in summer it attacks on cattles,sheep,ponies,marmots , etc.
4. snow leopard:- amongst all leopards , snow leopard is the most beautiful animal which has a long thick coat of smokey grey with black rosettes . it is smaller than average panther on preys on wild sheep, goats and musk deer. its predation behaviour compels it follow down the slopes on their seasonal migration.
