The object is immersed with water and thus it displace with the water at 20 cm and mass of density.

In fact, the substance could be float or sink and cube is nickel and with a density by 8.90g/cm3.

The mass of cube has volume by object that is immersed with water and taken at substances.

_/\_Hello mate__here is your answer--

⭐ CONCEPT:-- If the density of an object is more than the density of a liquid, then it sinks in the liquid. On the other hand, if the density of an object is less than the density of a liquid, then it floats on the surface of the liquid.

________________________

Mass of sub. , M= 50 g

Volume of sub., V= 20 cm^3

density of the substance

= M/V

=50/ 20

= 2.5 g/cm^3

The density of the substance is more than the density of water (1 g cm^−3). Hence, the substance will sink in water.

I hope, this will help you.☺

Thank you______❤
