volume of the cone = 1212 cm ³

 \frac{1}{3}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}  \times 24 = 1212

  {r}^{2}  =  \frac{1212 \times 7}{22 \times 8}  = 48.2

now ,

 {l}^{2}  =  {r}^{2}  +  {h}^{2}

 {l}^{2}  =  {(7)}^{2}  +  {(24)}^{2}

 {l}^{2}  = 49 + 579 = 625

 {l}^{2}  =  \sqrt{625}

 = 25cm

surface area of the cone = πrl

 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 25 = 550cm {}^{2}

Surface area = ?


Volume = 1212 cm

=> 1/3 pie r^2 h = 1212
=> 1/3 ✖️ 22/7 ✖️ r^2 ✖️ 24 = 1212
=> r^2 = 1212 ✖️ 7 / 22 ✖️ 8
=> r^2 = 8484/176
=> r^2 = 48.2 = 49
=> r = 7 cm

To find slant height,
L^2 = r^2 + h^2 r
L^2 = 7^2 + 24^2
L^2 = 49 + 576
L^2 = 625
L = 25 cm


Surface area of a cone = pie r l

=> 22/7 ✖️ 7 ✖️ 25
=> 3850/7
=> 550 cm^2 (Ans)
