Given :-

☄ Volume of the metal cube, V = 150cm³

☄ Density of the metal cube, p = 4.5 gm/cm³

To find :-

the mass of the metal cube

Solution :-

as we know,

density is equal to mass of a unit volume .i.e.,

{ \bf { \gray {Density =  \dfrac{mass}{volume}}}}

According to Question,

  • density = 4.5gm/cm³
  • Volume = 150cm³
  • mass = ?

{\sf {\leadsto 4.5gm/ {cm}^{3} =  \dfrac{mass}{150 {cm}^{3}} }}  \\  \\ {\sf {\leadsto 4.5gm/ {cm}^{3} \times 150 {cm}^{3} = mass }} \\  \\ {\sf {\leadsto mass = 4.5gm \times 150}} \\  \\ {\sf {\leadsto mass = 675gm} } \\

Si unit of mass is kg so,

 {\sf {\leadsto mass = 675 \times  \dfrac{1}{1000}kg = 0.675kg}}

thus, the mass of the solid cube is 0.675kg.
