then how many men must join 15 women to
complete the work in 24 days? How much more is

Step-by-step explanation:

Well.....this problem needs some assumptions to be solved.

assumption 1- 30 women can complete the same work in 36 days which is required to be completed in 24 days.

assumption 2- Since a man earns double,. he must be double efficient in completing the work than a woman.

with above assumptions....

a work is completed in 36 days by 30 women

the work will be completed in 24 days by 30*36/24 women

= 45 women.

15 women are already on work so 30 women are needed extra.

since men are double efficient, we can substitute 30 women by 15 men.

Hence, 15 men needs to join the women to complete the work in 24 days.

further, per day earning of a woman is rs 500/9

so per day earning of a man is rs 1000/9

a man earns 500/9 rupee extra per day

15 men in 24 days willl earn 500/9*15*24 rupees

= 20000 rupees extra than women.
