A man is walking at a speed of   5/6

Original speed: New speed = 5: 6

Time taken ratio =  6:5

Actual time = 5x

New time = 6x

The difference between the actual and the new time is 10 minutes

6x – 5x = 10

x = 10

Actual time taken is 5x = 5× 10 = 50 minutes

Converting 50 minutes to hours

To convert minutes into hours, divide by 60

5060=56hours

∴ The usual time to cover the journey =\frac56hours

Option D is the correct answer.
