We will do th e LCM Of both the speeds i.e. LCM of 5 and 10 = 10

Now 10÷5 =2
And 10÷10 = 1

difference(hours)= 2-1=1 hour

Time difference = 5-(-10)=5+10=15 minutes

So, she covers a distance of 10 km in 1 hour.

Thus , 1 = 10
60 = 10 ( 1hr= 60 mins)
15=10/60×15
15=2.5

Therefore , her office is 2.5 km far from her home.

LCM of 5KM/hr and 10KM/hr = 10 KMs

10 km —→ 5 km/hr —→ 2 hrs

10 km —→ 10 km/hr —→ 1 hrs

difference = 2 hrs - 1 hrs = 1 hr ( 60 mins)

time difference = 15 mins

so, 60 mins = 10 kms

for , 15 mins = 10 / 60*15 = 2.5 km
