Was lencho a grateful person or ungrateful person?

In the lesson, letter to god,
Lencho suffers from hunger and loss of crops hence, he asks god to help him out.
When he finally got the money through the post officers and the employees, at first he was happy but when he opened the envelope, he realised that it was not the amount he asked for. So he wrote another letter to god saying that he did'nt get the whole money and that post office emplyees must have stole it.
Instead of being greatful of what he got, he was complaining.
So, we can say that he was'nt a greatful person.
