No Lucifer was not correct. The reasons are not far to seek. Lucifer is portrayed as the Satan and is the embodiment of sin. Lucifer would like to believe that he is as powerful as God and that is the reason Lucifer is seen tempting Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and saying “thou shall not surely die”. This goes against what the Lord had ordered Adam, “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die”. Genesis 2:17.
