Answer:
Explanation:
According to me, the character Mriganko Babu exhibits both the quality of being and not being superstitious simultaneously. He was a famous and popular writer. At first, when Abhiram was accused of stealing by the witch doctor, everyone including Mriganko Babu believed in him. Abhiram was expelled from his job which eventually led towards his death. Although Mriganko Babu was not the one who believed in the superstitious things said by the witch doctor but at the same, he didn't oppose him. This makes him tolerant of the issue. Later when he witnesses Abhiram in the form of a scarecrow he feels scared of it. What the scarecrow told him he did. He found his watch in the same place where the scarecrow has told him. This shows that although he was much rational still he believed in the scarecrow's words.
