A few ways to reduce the problem of waste disposal are:

i) Use cloth/jute bags instead of disposable plastic bags

ii) Use old clothes to make napkins, bags, scarf, etc.

iii) Avoid the use of disposable plates, spoons, straws etc.

iv) Instead of disposing biodegradable waste, turn it into manure for plants

v) Recycle metals and plastic items by giving it to a kabadiwala

vi) Use less paper by storing information on the internet (in apps like MS Word)

vii) Give old clothes/ shoes and socks etc, to the needy ones
