wat do you mean by non farming activity? discuss about two such activities in palampur

Non farming activities are activities that are not related to eother farming or agriculture.

For example- poultry farming, tailoring, fishing , vegetable vendors, dairy farming, transporating etc.

In the village of palampur some people started using clay to earn livelihood and then to transport it to the cities. Some started providing computer education etc by this they were involved in non farming activities

If this is your 1st chapter of economics of 9th class...you can take other examples of how people started non farming activities in village. I can't remember the whole content.;)

non farming activities are the ones in which farming is not involved...... for eg:2 such activities are.....
dairy products like.... milk. cheese.meat etc.
and..... general stores.... people... buying and selling..
