The waste which can be recycled is known as biodegradable waste and vice versa

For eg :- Plastic is non-biodegradable and on the other hand paper is biodegradable

Bio degradable waste: Substance that are broken down by biological and microbial action is known as bio degradable. Ex: glass ,leaves and flowers. Non biodegradable waste: Substance that are not broken down by biological and microbial action is known as non bio degradable waste. Ex: plastic and minerals.
