Water evaporating and water absorbing surfaces of plants are increased by GA and ABA respectively.

Abscisic acid helps plants to retain its water. ABA play important role to temperature and water loss ,when temperature increases ,plant starts to evaporate more with the help of stomata and when temperature reaches at its peak, then ABA is released in the leaves and it force stomata to close and in this way plant retain its water.
