Water from taps and handpumps conduct electricity but distilled water does not . Why

tap water contains dissolved salts in it, these then dissociate into ion and conduct electricity while distilled water do not contain any salts..

water from taps and handpumps contains electrolyte like salt so they conduct electricity.
distilled water is pure and do not contain any electrolyte so it do not conduct electricity
