water in a canal 5.4m wide and 1.8 m deep and it starts flowing with a speed of 25kmpr/hr it can irrigate in 40 min if 10cm of water required for irrigation

the cross section area of the canal=5.4*1.8 m^2=9.72m^2
velocity of water per unit area=25*10^3 /3600 m/s=6.9m/s
it can irrigated for 40min=40*60=2400s
then the water will irrigate in 2400*6.9=16560m distance
