Answer:

1. Use of water at home should be reduced by atleast 5 litres per person by smartly using the water. For example, the tap should be off while shaving & brushing the teeth. Only use it when its required.

2. Lots of trees should be planted across the countries and the world for better rains. We should influence people living around us to plant more and more trees in our neighbourhood.

3. Government should make Rain Water Harvesting compulsory for all the buildings, individual houses, corporate houses and manufacturing units. The government should not give NOC to the owners till the time the Rain Water Harvesting is installed and functional.

4. The Government should create water reservoirs every 20 kilometers across the country. And we should make sure we keep up the pressure on them to do the same. In metros like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai etc, it should be done outside the cities in a much bigger magnitude.

5. All of us should take the responsibility to not only teach our family but everybody we can, about the scarecity of water and the ways to reduce its wastage.

6. Government should also need to mandate tree plantation across the country.

7. There should be more dams constructed, especially at the places where the rain water gets drained out without utilisation.

8. Government should set up plants to recycle water across all the cities of the country. At an individual level all the citizens of the country should recycle water by using water for gardening, cleaning etc.

9. Some more valuable tips for the individuals / families-

*Don't leave the sink / tap running.

*Take shorter showers. (Even a minute

10.And follow 3R= a. reuse b. recycle c. recreate

hope it helps u
