Solution:

Yes,
As we know that, water contains Hydrogen & oxygen.

As we know the, compound is form when two or more element mixed in fixed proportion.

so here, Hydrogen and oxygen is Mixed in 2:1
Respectively to form water.

2H2 + O2 = 2H2O

If we take 6 g of water then their is 4g hydrogen & 2 g oxygen.

As if we want to separate Hydrogen & oxygen from water, we have to use electrolysis.

where we get Hydrogen on Negative [At cathode] & oxygen on positive terminal [At Anode].
