Water is pouring into a reseroir at the rate of 60 l per min .if the vol.of the reservoir is 108m3 find the number of hours it will take to fill the reservoir

Solution -  

Quantity of reservoir = 108 m³  ​​

= (108 × 1,000) litres  

= 108,000 litres  

∴ Time taken to fill the reservoir  

= (108,000 litres /60 litres) minutes  

= 1,800 minutes  

= 1,800/60 hours  

= 30 hours  

∴ It will take 30 hours to fill the reservoir
