■HEY DEAR.

1Water mixture =solutions

2petrol and water mixture=Heterogeneous

3Chalk a and water mixture=Heterogeneous

4sugar and water mixture=Homogeneous

5copper sulphate solutions=Homogeneous

6A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substance. which we cannot distinguish in one from and other.

7Brass is considered a mixture because :-

(I):- it show the properties of its constituents, copper and Zinc.

(ii)it has variable composition.

(the amount of brass and copper can vary from 20 to 35 per cent)

8Those substances which are insoluble in water is called suspension. it is heterogeneous mixture in which the small particals of a solid are spread throughout a liquid without dissolving in it. E.g=》 Muddy water, chalk water solutions.

9A colloid is a kind of solutions in which the size of solute particles is intermediate between those in true solutions and those in suspension.

E.g=Blood , jelly, ink.etc.

12True solutions=sugar &starch

colloidal =blood &ink.
