Water on a smooth floor can make you slip which means water is also a lubricant why oil and grease, not water is usedin as a lubricant

Lubricant is used to make one body slip over other . when bodies slips on one another they create heat and temperature increases .water has very less BP of 100'c but oils and grease have high BP.
