Explanation:

the answer is:-

question:- why doesn't the water of lake get frozen on the upper layer not in the lower layer of lake ?

answer:-

In winter, the lakes and ponds get frozen, but only the upper layer, why?

⍟︎ Because the temperature is low ( - degree) then of course all the water becomes frozen.

But why don't lower layer gets frozen?

⍟︎ Because as the upper layer is already frozen, the temperature of the lower layer increase from - degree temperature,so it doesn't freeze.

In short words, the upper layer is frozen,so it doesn't allow cold to go inside to lower layer causing the temperature to be warm and not allowing the cold to go inside.

hope it helps you.....
